The Chamber of Flowood has the following opportunities for members to serve on committees. Please consider volunteering on the committee of your choice and be part of the growth of the Flowood community. Please fill out the form at the end of the list.
Business Development and Member Communications
Meets: 2nd Wednesday of each month, 8:30 A.M. Chamber office
Responsible for: members Afterhours events, website, quarterly newsletter and more.
Flowood Young Professionals (ages 21-35)
Meets: 3rd Wednesday of each month, 11:00 A.M., area restaurants, Dutch treat
Organizes the Annual Luncheon, assist with Chamber events
FRE-Flowood Referral Exchange -Annual Fee $50
FRE was designed to establish, operate and promote a referral exchange and networking opportunity for members.
Group#1 meets 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month, 8:30am, area meeting space
Group#2 meets 1st & 3rd Thursday of each month, 8:15am, area meeting space
Diplomat & Member Relations - Annual Fee $25
Meets: 4th Tuesday of each month, 11:15 A.M., area restaurants and meeting space
Promotes and attends Ribbon Cuttings, Open Houses, Membership Drives, and Chamber events
Chamber Promotions & Events
Meets: 3rd Thursday of each month, 11:00 A.M., Chamber office
Plans and supervises the production of Chamber / City commercials, print advertising, Christmas shopping circular, and all Chamber marketing materials. Plans and oversees Chamber events such as the Golf Tournament and C2 Luncheons.
